I will tell you the single most frustrating thing in my entire 25-year Network Marketing career has been trying to get my downline off their “duff” to do something. I have to hold the “World's Record” of babysitting more adults than any other human being on the planet! When I think of all the golf games I could have played instead of listening to my “cry baby” downline on the phone for hour after hour, I cringe. I'm fed up with everyone who won't listen to my advice. I mean it! The Internet allowed this problem to subside for the last 2½ years. Now, that all the problems with the Internet have shown their ugly face and aren't going away, I'm forced to face this issue…head on! Instead of doing what I did back when I had the patience of the biblical character, “Job”, I've actually sat down and learned from my own past mistakes. What have I done to turn my Network Marketing business on its ear these last 2 years? I started using Genealogy leads—again! All the while you and your downline are running ad after ad, dealing with spam complaint after spam complaint, working and re-working your website copy and e-mail letters, I've been quietly picking up the phone in Norman , Oklahoma and networking with proven Networkers. Yes, I used Genealogy leads in the past and dropped them like a “hot potato” when the zing and the zang of the Internet built downlines so fast you couldn't even keep up with the phone calls. I've watched that little girl sing so many times, on my death bed, that “jingle” will be swimming in my head… “Da, da, da, da, da, da, da Dora!” I mean come on, how much Dora can one man take? Thank goodness the Internet went and got “busted” so I could tell my wife and kids I HAD to go back to work! Okay, here's the proof that you AND your downline need to be using Genealogy leads to build your business. In fact, here's 3 case studies for you: Case Study #1 Mike calls 1,000 Genealogy leads a month he tells me. He signs up 10 new people a month from the list. But, that's not what makes him happy. One “leg” already grew over $5,000 in new business in 60 days. How? Because one of those 10 people knew someone who knew someone and popped in 50 new people for Mike in one month! Case Study #2 Sarah has been in Network Marketing for 30 years. She has never made more than $187 she tells me. You don't have to baby sit them on the phone for hours and hours trying to motivate them and talk them into staying on auto-ship. If you're a Network Marketer, you darn well better be networking with other Networkers or you're involved with nothing more than a commission sales JOB! Hey, if you can't handle a little rejection and bad numbers and e-mails, then I suggest you take a serious look at “why” you're in the business. It's part of the territory of making $100,000+ a year. I know that even if these people fall flat on their faces and never sponsor a soul, I can get to their valuable list of contacts from their previous Network Marketing program! I even signed up 10 people from a NO I got with my Genealogy leads just last month! He said NO and I asked him if he still had his old sponsor's phone number. He gave it to me and then slammed down the phone on me! That NO will make me tens of thousands of dollars! Look, the bottom line is this isn't an option for you. You not only need to do it, you have to do it. Not just for your bank account, but for your sanity! I mean it! Are you still going to be “pitching” Network Marketing in 10 years the same way you are now? One sign-up here, one-sign up there? I mean, how much line of credit can Visa and Mastercard actually extend you until you get with the program and start making 10 to 100 times what you spend on this business each and every month like I do? In 10 years are you still going to be hoping and praying Mary Ann from South Dakota is “Going Diamond” for you? Get Real! The only thing Mary Ann is going to do is waste your time, run up your phone bill, increase your quantity of alcohol intake and make you a measly few bucks along the way. You won't get rich recruiting and holding the hands of the “Mary Ann's” of the world. Hey, I've got them, too. I don't discriminate…I just know the “drill” and the “numbers”…that's why I stopped waiting for something to happen and started recruiting people who knew how to make things happen!
